Fer Sher!

so many reasons

Sometimes (like when I have company and don’t get enough sleep) I question whether my office attire is work appropriate…

Saturday’s back squats were a little tough as I was feeling slightly fatigued before I even started. But I got through the sets at the prescribed weights. I think the last rep was a little ugly, but I forgot to record so I don’t have proof. At least it felt ugly. Speaking of here’s my minute of hand release push-ups.

Lock that shit out, Morgan.

Feeling yesterday’s hip thrust today fer shur! Right side is harder – uh, more challenging, not better to bounce a quarter off of. The sled work combo was great, but rough. That heavy front rack carry is SO uncomfy. The 35# KBs didn’t feel challenging enough so I went with the 44#s but only made it like 60m and farmer carried the rest. Is that fine or should I stick to lighter load for longer duration? (Did I just ask if I should stick to the program…?)

The Highland Games were this weekend and enjoyed myself immensely. You should see some of those ladies toss the caber. Goals. And a kilt of my family tartan: bonus.

Kilts. Cabers. Duct tape.

Having company staying with you is tricky when (A) you are used to living along and (B) me. Ha! The food choices and sleep quality have been all over the place. I think I’m good on food logging for a while. Need more protein – got it. Will work to get more in there and then check back in with the log in a few weeks to see where I am at.
